The name Nōdfu Ew Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Nōdfu Ew Ner was founded by Trtho Gharthat, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Nōdfu Ew Ner receives an average of 246 cm/y (96 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Nōdfu Ew Ner covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4182 m (13720 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Nōdfu Ew Ner was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1353, by Trtho Gharthat. The establishment of Nōdfu Ew Ner was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Trtho Gharthat struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Nōdfu Ew Ner as a prison colony.
Nōdfu Ew Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nōdfu Ew Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Nōdfu Ew Ner is buildings are arranged arround a network of restrictive cobblestone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Nōdfu Ew Ner's frontieer-style defences has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
Nōdfu Ew Ner has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Nōdfu Ew Ner’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.
Civic Infrastructure
Nōdfu Ew Ner has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Nōdfu Ew Ner. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Nōdfu Ew Ner's parks.
Nōdfu Ew Ner has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Nōdfu Ew Ner.
Nōdfu Ew Ner has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Nōdfu Ew Ner has an Arts Academy which provides higher education in many fields including math, language arts, philosophy, engineering, and other such disciplines.
Nōdfu Ew Ner possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Nōdfu Ew Ner's grid is powered by a direct leyline tap.
Nōdfu Ew Ner possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Nōdfu Ew Ner has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Nōdfu Ew Ner's natural decorations nor waterways.
Nōdfu Ew Ner has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Nōdfu Ew Ner has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Nōdfu Ew Ner's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..
In Nōdfu Ew Ner every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.
The Caypup near Nōdfu Ew Ner are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
Nōdfu Ew Ner's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves square dance to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 1 via singing.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Nōdfu Ew Ner was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Nōdfu Ew Ner lost 269 people, 128 livestock, and 29 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 198, when members of Nōdfu Ew Ner's militia enacted an operation to defend a particular religious figure, and ensure they remain out of enemy hands. The operation was complicated by a natural disaster interrupted the operation, shattering unit cohesion. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Nōdfu Ew Ner's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Nōdfu Ew Ner's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
